Biography

Employing the nano-materials such as carbon nanotubes (CNT) and nanoclay, for coating the carbon fiber in composite structures, multi-scale hybrid composites are constructed covering all incorporated scales of nano, micro, meso and macro. Thus, establishing the hybrid composite materials, the interfacial and interlaminar strengths as the main shortcomings in the conventional composite structures, are remarkably augmented. Consequently, two main purposes of the research are listed below which demonstrate fundamental engineering points of view of composite materials considering different loading conditions including static, low velocity impact and fatigue.
(1). Fiber- Matrix Interfacial Stress Analysis of Carbon Nanotube-Carbon Fiber Reinforced Hybrid Composites
(2). Interlaminar Stress Analysis of Nano-Stitched Advanced Laminated Composites
It is worth mentioning all the aforementioned investigations are being implemented using computational, analytical and experimental methods.
