Biography

Alessandro Farasin holds a master's degree in Computer vision and Artificial Intelligence (2016) from the Università degli Studi di Torino (UniTo). Currently, he is a PhD student in the "Department of Control and Computer Engineering" at Politecnico di Torino. His research activity focuses on the study of the applications of machine learning and deep learning approaches in geospatial contexts, dealing with heterogeneous information (satellite, in-situ sensors and social media data).
