Biography

Emanuele Resta is currently a PhD student at Politecnico di Torino, in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS). His research activity is primarily focused on the study of Thrust Vectoring control techniques for supersonic aerospace nozzles. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2017 and then his Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering - Propulsion Systems in 2020. Shortly after he was involved as a Research Fellow within the Aerospace Propulsion research group at Politecnico di Torino, until the start of his PhD program. He is currently focusing on the study of performances of Aerospike Nozzles and of the effectiveness of different Thrust Vectoring techniques, including Shock Vector Control and Differential Throttling.
