Biography

Mohammad Ghazi Vakili received the B.Sc in Telecommunication Engineering and his M.Sc. degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino University, Italy, in 2017. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica of the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Giovanni Demartini. His research interests concern Industry 4.0 (future of factories) and focus on Industrial Wireless Sensor Network and IoT. Currently, he is working on 6TiSCh protocol on WSN and he developed the Simulator for the TSCH network for industry 4.0's framework for SMEs. During his Ph.D., he developed many IoT projects such as a Pollution Monitoring station, the 6TiSCh Simulator, a DIIG Gateway establishing an extended OPC-IoT platform for industry 4.0. Besides his main activity, he worked on Quantum Optimization for Industrial Sector to enhance industrial processes.
