Biography

My research focuses on the development of thermal models for transparent envelope components and on the design of control strategies for adaptive transparent façades. I specialize in simulation, monitoring, and optimization of building energy performance and human comfort, including the integration of IoT platforms for data management and analysis. I have conducted user-centered experiments to assess indoor environmental quality and interactions with dynamic components and building systems. I have strong expertise in energy and environmental simulation tools (EnergyPlus) and data post-processing (Python). I have also contributed to H2020 European projects (iClima–built, POWERSKIN PLUS) in collaboration with international partners.
