Twin Track program – Double Degree Program

Students enrolled in Environmental and Land EngineeringIndustrial Environmental Sustainability track, have the chance to earn a second Master’s Degree in Chemical and Sustainable Processes Engineering in one year within the framework of the Twin Track program.

  • Students enrolled in A.Y. 2024/2025: in 2025/2026 they must take the courses Unit operation for chemical processes (6 ECTS, first semester) and Hydrogen production processes (6 ECTS, second semester). The personal study plan may have to be revised to include these courses.
  • Students enrolled in A.Y. 2025/2026: they need to include in their personal study plan the courses Unit operation for chemical processes (6 ECTS, first semester) and Hydrogen production processes (6 ECTS, second semester).

The second Master Degree will be accessible (in A.Y. 2026/2027) through the process of Advancing Masters’ courses, similarly to the process available for the passage from a Bachelor degree to a Master degree. The programme curriculum of the second Master Degree will be as follows:

  • Advanced process monitoring and control and Safety 10 (ECTS)
  • Industrial chemistry and process simulation (10 ECTS)
  • Multiphase equipment design (8 ECTS)
  • Multiphase Chemical Reactors for Sustainable Processes (8 ECTS)
  • Transport phenomena and Computational fluidodynamics (10 ECTS)
  • Thesis (14 ECTS)

Twin Track program – Master's Degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering

Students enrolled in Environmental and Land EngineeringClimate Change track, have the chance to earn a second Master’s Degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering in one year within the framework of the Twin Track program.

  • Students enrolled in A.Y. 2024/2025: in 2025/26 they must take the courses Fundamentals of energy technologies (6 ECTS, first semester) and Fundamentals of energy conversion, transport and storage (6 ECTS, second semester). The personal study plan may have to be revised to include these courses.
  • Students enrolled in A.Y. 2025/2026: they need to include in their personal study plan the courses Fundamentals of energy technologies (6 ECTS, first semester) and Fundamentals of energy conversion, transport and storage (6 ECTS, second semester).
