Biography

Simone Parola is an architect and doctoral candidate in Architecture, History, and Project at Politecnico di Torino with a master’s in Architecture for Sustainable Design from the same university. His thesis investigates the air rights potential of urban railway zones, developed through two international research periods at ENSAL in Lyon (France) and the University of Tokyo (Japan).
He acquired substantial professional experience across renowned architectural firms alongside his academic journey. He collaborated with Kengo Kuma and Associates office in Tokyo, while in Paris, he worked at LAN Architecture. These diverse roles spanned multiple design stages and scales, enhancing his expertise across various architectural typologies.
He is currently pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Professor Elena Vigliocco and supported by FULL | Future Urban Legacy Lab
