
SISCON – Safety for InfraStructures and CONstructions is an applied research center equipped with experimental laboratories. It adopts a concrete mission and a multidisciplinary approach that allows tackling complex issues related to large mobility infrastructures and complex constructions from multiple perspectives. With activities ranging from scientific and technological research to on-site experimentation, the Center is committed to ensuring the sustainability and safety of constructions, bridges, tunnels, and dams, which are fundamental for transport infrastructures, energy infrastructures, and major constructions.
