MatchIN - Connecting research and industry to accelerate innovation

Given the success of the individual meetings between PhD candidates, Post Docs and companies held during the Career Days - with more than 300 meetings organized - Politecnico di Torino, in collaboration with the Sistema Poli, is organizing “MatchIN - Connecting research and industry to accelerate innovation”, an event dedicated to fostering dialogue between research and the productive sector, which will take place on 4 June 2026, from 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm.

The initiative is aimed at researchers holding a PhD with ongoing research collaborations or collaborations concluded within the last 12 months, who are interested in understanding how research skills can be enhanced within the business environment.

During the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with innovative SMEs from Piedmont belonging to the Innovation Clusters of the Piedmont Region, representing various sectors including agrifood, health, green chemistry, energy, advanced manufacturing, ICT and textiles.

Through a dedicated platform, participants will also be able to book one-to-one meetings with the participating companies. The interviews will represent an opportunity for mutual exchange: companies will present their context and innovation needs, while researchers will be able to introduce their profiles and explore possible synergies and collaboration opportunities.
