Special screening of the documentary "Giulio Regeni - Tutto il male del mondo"

On Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 4:30 p.m., a special screening of the documentary “Giulio Regeni – Tutto il male del mondo,” produced by Fandango and Ganesh Produzioni, will take place in the Aula Magna of Politecnico di Torino.

The screening will be followed by a discussion focusing on the themes of freedom of study and research.

The event is organized by the Consulta Giovani of Politecnico di Torino as part of the initiative “Universities for Giulio Regeni,” promoted by Senator for Life and scientist Elena Cattaneo ten years after the disappearance in Egypt of the young researcher.
The initiative involves 76 universities and around 15,000 participants over two months of events and screenings dedicated to academic freedom. It consists of a series of events taking place between April and May 2026 across 76 universities throughout Italy, engaging students, researchers, academic staff, and members of the wider public.

The documentary will be shown in Italian only, without subtitles.

Admission to the documentary screening is free, subject to seat availability.
