Just the Woman I Am 2026
As every year, JUST THE WOMAN I AM (in short, JTWIA) returns, a staple event in Turin since 2014, held in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
The 5 km run/walk is open to everyone and supports university cancer research while promoting prevention, healthy lifestyles, inclusion, and gender equality. Organized by the Turin University Sports Centre, the Polytechnic University of Turin will once again stand alongside the University of Turin for the thirteenth edition.
The 2026 edition of JTWIA will take place in Turin from 6 to 8 March, offering three days entirely dedicated to well-being, prevention, and solidarity. As every year, the heart of the event will be the Prevention Village, set up in Piazza Castello from Friday to Sunday. Here, participants will have access to free medical screenings, counseling services, and information activities promoted by non-profit associations.
The renowned 5 km run/walk will return on Sunday, 8 March, starting from Parco del Valentino. This is now a well-established event, open to everyone and capable of engaging thousands of participants each year — not only from Italy but from abroad as well - turning sport into a powerful tool of participation and awareness-raising.
How to register?
Registrations can be completed as SINGLE, GROUP, or PET on the official website.
For any further information, please contact iscrizioni@jtwia.org
The minimum donation required for registration is 15 euros for students and 20 euros for employees/collaborators.
All information on participation in the run/walk is available at this link.
