European week for waste eeduction - WEEE COLLECTION

Do you have broken mice, keyboards, or headphones? Cables or chargers left abandoned in drawers for years? Don’t know where to dispose of used batteries or light bulbs? This is the perfect opportunity for you.

On the occasion of the European Week for Waste Reduction the Politecnico di Torino with the student teams WEEE OPEN and EcòPoli and the Alan Turing Collective, is organizing a collection booth for WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
The collection will take place on November 25, 26, and 27, 2025, at the booth set up by the teams near Lecture Hall 2 at the Politecnico’s main campus.

You will find the booth at the following times:

• November 25: 1.00 PM – 5.30 PM
• November 26: 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM
• November 27: 8.30 AM – 1.00 PM

At the conclusion of the collection, on November 27 from 5.00 PM to 6.30 PM in the central space of the Engineering Library, the event “Reconnections: Dialogues on WEEE, Planned Obsolescence and Repair” will take place. This will be a discussion on topics such as planned obsolescence, device recovery and repair, and the proper disposal of electronic waste.
