4th Edition of the International School on Water Reuse (ISWR)

On the occasion of the 4th edition of the International School on Water Reuse (ISWR), to be held in Torino from Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 September 2025, we report the participation of professor Alberto Tiraferri from the Department of Environmental, Land and Infrastructure Engineering-DIATI of Politecnico, as moderator of one of the round tables.

The School, promoted by the Department of Chemistry of the University of Turin, as part of the Scientific Platform on Water Reuse of UniTo, with the support of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the PNRR-NODES Spoke 2 programme, represents an important training and networking opportunity for academics and professionals interested in the management and reuse of water resources.
The School has a multidisciplinary approach and will address issues ranging from water treatment technologies to the legislative, economic and social aspects of reuse, with the involvement of experts in the field. The programme includes lectures, round tables and interactive workshops, offering participants an opportunity for discussion and learning.

Case studies will also be discussed, and a visit to an important integrated water resource management plant will be organised. The initiative has an international dimension, with the participation of experts and professionals from different countries.

Participation is open to PhD students, early-career researchers, and academics from various disciplines, as well as professionals and operators in the water and environmental sectors. The event will be held in person and in English.

The deadline for registration is 15 July 2025.
