Events at the Politecnico
Restart Party@PoliTO
On 3 March 2023 some experts from Restarters Torino and WEEE Open (under the patronage of the Green Team) will help students understand if their phones support other operating systems - free and longer lasting - and to teach small tips for maintenance.You can bring all kinds of electronic devices to the event, from toasters to PlayStation.
The event is promoted within the GreenBlue series on the impact of digital technologies, designed by DIATI in collaboration with GEAM – Associazione Georisorse e Ambiente and Sloweb, and will be held at the glazed box at the main entrance of Politecnico (toward the corridor of Classroooms 2, 4, 6).
What a Restart Party is?
The Restarters Torino group is inspired by the London Restart Parties, 3-hour itinerant events organized in community spaces in the city, in which volunteers with technical skills help Londoners to repair and maintain consumer electronic products.
