Within the framework of the doctoral program, the disciplines of "architectural and urban design" and "landscape architecture" contribute to the knowledge and valorisation of heritage through constant research aimed at innovating the technical and theoretical tools of architectural design.
The project is, in fact, seen as the necessary tool for an extension of the domain of architecture from the scale of the single building to the territorial scale. The project is proposed as a cognitive activity of architecture, a city, or a territory, and at the same time, a cognitive activity of its own theoretical dimension.
