New York Career Day 2023: Opportunities for Italian Researchers
AIRI New York Chapter is pleased to announce the "New York Career Day 2023: Opportunities for Italian Researchers". The event is organized under the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy in New York and will see the participation of important research institutions in New York, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medicine, Rockefeller University, Columbia University and New York University.
On Tuesday, March 29, from 15:00 to 17:30 CET, the Zoom event will guide Italian researchers in planning their scientific career, in finding research opportunities in New York, in identifying funding resources and in receiving mentorship when applying for research positions.
Participants will learn about exciting research opportunities in New York and the resources available to help secure these positions. They will meet institutional administrators and researchers who can provide advice and assistance during the application process. Several partner institutions will also be presenting their fellowship and grant opportunities.
The event is aimed at recent graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral researchers interested in a research experience in New York in all scientific fields, with particular attention to the biomedical sciences. All those interested in participating in the event must register on Eventbrite.
