Ph.D. obtained in 2025

Dissertation:

Novel post-processing applications in weather science (Abstract)

Tutors:

Francesco Laio

Profile

Research topic

Post-processing in hydrology: from limited area precipitation forecast to global moisture tracking.

Research interests

Numerical Modelling and Simulation

Biography

I carry out research in meteorology and climatology, focusing on precipitation forecasts, thermal comfort indices, and the study of atmospheric moisture fluxes on a global scale. I integrate observations, satellite data, and reanalysis with numerical models and machine learning techniques to improve the understanding and modelling of atmospheric processes and their impacts.

Awards and Honors
