Biography

I am Assistant Professor in Urban Planning (CEAR 12/A) at DIST – Politecnico di Torino, where I focus on collaborative urban governance processes, social innovation and urban regeneration, including through forms of tactical urbanism. I obtained my PhD with honors in Urban and Regional Development (Politecnico di Torino – Università di Torino) in 2022 and have collaborated with several foreign universities, including Sciences Po Paris, the University of Reading, Université Paris PSL and ENSA Saint-Étienne. I am the author of numerous publications in international scientific journals and contributions to edited volumes. I also undertake editorial and peer review work for journals in the field. During my career, I received the INU (Italian National Urban Planning Institute) ‘Urban Planning Literature’ award (2022) for an article published in Planning Theory and the INU ‘Civic University’ award (2025), the latter linked to the third mission and public engagement activities I carry out through the AuroraLAB action research laboratory.
