Biography

I obtained the Master's Degree in Building Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin with full marks (110/110). The thesis presented, concerning the technical feasibility of artifacts in reinforced concrete of complex geometry with industrial building equipment, was awarded with the prize "Designing the future - year 2012" given by the company Pilosio S.p.A.
Subsequently, I followed various advanced courses, deepening disciplines such as fire-safety engineering, safety on building sites and in the workplace, energy efficiency, Universal Design and on the use of computational IT tools for parametric and generative design (Grasshopper).
I obtained the qualification to exercise the profession of Junior Engineer in 2011. Then, I enrolled in the section B Civil-Environmental of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Turin.
In 2013 I obtained the qualification to exercise the profession of senior Engineer and I enrolled in the section A, Civil-Environmental, of the same Order.
In the same year, I obtained the ministerial qualification as a fire-safety professional.
In 2013 I was also selected for "Talents for the Enterprise” programme promoted by the Cassa di Risparmio di Torino Foundation. This allowed me to take a higher education course on entrepreneurship. In the following years, I obtained the qualifications as Energy Certifier, Safety Coordinator in the Design phase, Safety Coordinator in the Execution phase, Head of the Prevention and Protection Service and Safety Trainer in the workplace.
In 2014, at the Polytechnic of Turin, I obtained a Second Level University Master in "Design and construction of high-rise buildings" and I did a curricular internship at the "Inarco Associati" studio, which was partner of the "Renzo Piano Building Workshop Paris” in relation to the project of the new Intesa-SanPaolo skyscraper in Turin. I took part in the design and construction of this building.
In 2020 I obtained a Master's Degree in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin with full marks (107/110). In the same year, I won the call for the research grant for the "Adaptive Building Envelope for Complex Buildings - ABE4CO" programme at the Department of Architecture and Design of the same University.
I currently work as a freelancer professional and collaborate in university research activities relating to architectural technology, technical architecture, smart cities, generative computational urban planning, biomimicry, the design and construction of buildings in extreme conditions.

  • Riconoscimento di benemerenza conferito dal Museo Ferroviario di Torino Porta Nuova in ragione degli studi condotti sulla storia dei collegamenti ferroviari tra Torino e Nizza e dell'impegno profuso nella promozione del centro museale. (2024)
