After graduation

You will be able to work in several career fields:

  • Systems designer: as a systems designer you will have all the necessary skills for the comprehensive design of open industrial systems and processes, from concept generation to implementation. You will be able to work for professional services firms, consortia, private companies, non-profit organizations, pubic or public-private bodies such as regional innovation clusters;
  • Designer of complex products: you will be able to manage socially sustainable projects and to design industrial complex products, working both individually and in cross curricular project teams. You will address issues related to project feasibility in technical, economic, manufacturing and commercial terms. You will be able to work in the technical offices of manufacturing or service companies, in professional services firms, research centres and in the public sector.

Alternatively, you can continue your studies with a 2nd level Specializing Master’s programme or a PhD programme, such as the PhD in Design and Technology. People, Systems, Environment.
