Management engineering students (from both L-8 and L-9 degree classes) can choose to enrol in a Master’s degree programme.
For L-8 class graduates, the main fields of activities cover the processes of technological innovation, analysis and management of information systems in organizations, both private and public ones. Class L-9 graduates will mainly focus on process engineering, management of internal and external logistics flows (distribution and procurement).
The possible professional opportunities are related to two main areas, consistent with the classification provided by EUCIP (European Certification of Information Professionals):
- EXPERT IN LOGISTIC FLOWS AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES PRODUCTION, working with technical company functions in several areas: management of production technologies and systems, improvement of production processes, internal and external logistics, quality control, management control;
- EXPERT IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, who analyzes business processes in order to identify innovative solutions through information systems. Such a professional figure plays a role of interface between business management, users and developers of IT solutions; supports the design and maintenance of ICT solutions for business activities related to planning, economic and operational control of production, internal and external logistics, marketing, management of customer relationships.
