Continuing your studies

After completing your bachelor's degree programme, you can decide to continue your studies with a Master’s degree programme or with a 1st level specializing Master at PoliTO or at other universities, in Italy and abroad.

Study programmes with direct admission

The admission without the need to complete any additional curricular requirements, is guaranteed for the following Master's degree programmes (the same may also apply to other Master's degree programmes, as your academic background will always be assessed on the basis of the admission requirements).

Career opportunities

After completing your three-year degree, you can also start working immediately, either in public or private health facilities or in industry. 

The roles for which we train you are the following:

  1. Junior Biomedical Engineer, to join a design and/or production company for medical devices;
  2. Biomedical Equipment Technician, to find employment within a health facility for managing diagnosis and treatment technologies;
  3. Product Specialist, to work in companies that commercialise electromedical equipment, artificial limbs and orthotics, or medical software, to assist the commercial sector, both in the pre- and post-sale phases.
