Abstract

SHIELD aims at overcoming the above-mentioned gaps, proposing cutting edge solutions that will impact positively on the safety and resilience of hydrogen CIs. The project will exploit the latest technologies to develop innovative tools for improving monitoring, inspection (autonomous and assisted), data processing, management, and mitigation, risk decision-making and infrastructure management (including social aspects). The proposed technologies will be adapted, and validated to three case studies at local, national and European level to test the security and resilience of the facilities and operators, by considering multiple -hazard scenarios (both physical and cyber threats) which will involve civil protection authorities.
