Abstract
The project's objective is to optimize the gravimetric and volumetric energy density of battery systems for vehicular applications by developing a cell-to-pack architecture characterized by thermal management based on immersive cooling. The study is also focused on the structural optimization of the battery casing and the development of a wireless architecture for the Battery Management System. New techniques for the pressure and temperature measurement in the pack will be developed.
