Numerical analysis of magnetostatic and magnetodynamic fields


The analysis of electromagnetic fields ranges from static to quasi-static and to full Maxwell formulations. In Power applications, static and quasi-static conditions are more involved and require proper approaches and solutions. Modelling of materials, for instance ferromagnetic ones, implies the study, analysis and simulation of complex material relationships and to deal with nonlinearities and polydrome material characteristics like in the hysteresis of magnetic materials and in the evaluation of losses characteristics.
