Memristor-Based Neural Networks and Machine Learning

Description

The aim of the research activity is to develop platforms capable to exploit adaptive intelligence technologies for IoT and Big Data applications. The unique use of memristor-based architectures to implement machine learning algorithms for data processing may yield novel insights for the development of an efficient brain-inspired machine. Moreover, memristors and memristive systems are high dimensional systems with a rich dynamic behavior, that could be exploited to implement reservoir computing. Memristor-based chaotic circuits are also exploited in cryptographic secure communications.
