Around those interests I was able to shape my studies, attending courses about network theory, game theory, data mining and agent based simulations, creating a good toolkit not only to describe complex systems and human behaviours but also to simulate them.
I think that the availability of data in the recent years is unprecedent and will allow researchers to deeply study the human society in a way unthought before. Interactions, emerging collective phenomena, counter-intuitive behaviours should be the focus of the research interests in the coming years.
In my master's thesis I examined the process of agent-based generated multilayer network, diffusion of ideas on multilayer network and the possibility to infer the distribution of ideas on the whole network having access only to a limited number of layers.
Before starting my PhD studies, I’ve worked for NTTData company in a project involving University of Piemonte Orientale, supervised by professor Enrico Ferrero, for the application of machine learning techniques in the insurance sector.
