Eni Award 2027 - Young Researcher of the Year Prize
The Young Researcher of the Year Prize constitutes one of the six sections of the Eni Award, composed of the Advanced Environmental Solutions, Energy Transition, Energy Frontiers, Young Talents from Africa Prizes and “Eni for Innovation” Recognition.
The purpose of the Young Researcher of the Year Prize is to valorize new generations of researchers and their innovations, aimed to foster a net-zero carbon future, decarbonizing the energy system, preserving natural capital and promoting an efficient and sustainable access to energy, according to SDGs.
Eligible candidates must be graduates born in or after 1994 who defended their PhD thesis at an Italian university during 2026 or 2025 on topics related to energy and the environment.
The Prize is offered to two candidates and consists of a customized plaque and the sum of €25,000 for each winner.
The deadline for submission of the candidature is 20 November 2026 at 5 pm CET.
