Inner Territories Enhancement
Part of the Architectural Heritage PhD, the course entitled "Inner Territories Enhancement. Socio-economic analyses, design strategies and policies" will be held at Castello del Valentino from 8 to 12 September 2025 organised by Diana Rolando, professor of the Department of Architecture and Design-DAD of Politecnico.
This course delves into multi-disciplinary approaches to enhance inner territories focusing on socio-economic analyses, design strategies and policies. Inner territories, characterized by rural landscapes, small towns, and underdeveloped infrastructure, present challenges and opportunities for sustainable development. Central to this course is the integration of architectural heritage into enhancement strategies, recognizing the cultural, historical, and economic values embedded in these regions. Based on the results achieved in the context of the Research Project of National Interest (PRIN) "Branding4Resilience", approaches, methods, and application cases at both national and international levels are presented and analysed.
Program:
- Day 01 - 8 September 2025 - Sala Cibirini
To participate, express your interest in participating promptly and by Thursday, 31 July 2025.
