Artificial Intelligence and Business Change: Industrial and Social Implications
The workshop intitled "Artificial Intelligence and Business Change: Industrial and Social Implications" will feature the participation of Antonino Giannone, President of the Association Umanesimo ed Etica per la società digitale, and Pasquale Borriello, CEO of Arkage.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, June 4 from 4,00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Aula 4P of Politecnico di Torino and will also be available online.
The first intervention, by Antonino Giannone, highlights that generative and conversational AI represents a revolutionary cultural challenge for our humanity, because first of all it forces us to redefine ourselves. In the coming years, AI will have an increasing impact on Society 5.0 and will modify its production and organizational processes in all sectors, in the direction of the Era Change. This intervention addresses the ethical implications of AI. A high degree of discernment will be required in the use of AI. The question is whether digital society is moving towards a new Humanism or Transhumanism.
The second speech, by Pasquale Borriello, show that generative artificial intelligence and machine learning represent both a challenge and an important opportunity for Italian companies to bridge the gap with European and international competitors, allowing a competitive relaunch based on creativity, efficiency and productivity. In this context, the role of training and internal communication within companies is fundamental. This speech presents experiences and methodologies successfully applied over the last three years, during meetings with dozens of companies and hundreds of professionals from large and small Italian businesses.
