Examples of contemporary built heritage in the city of Madrid

Architectural and Urban Contemporary Heritage-ARURCOHE is one of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's (EMJM) specialization programs approved and funded by the European Commission. These prestigious master's programs welcome high-achieving students from around the world. ARURCOHE is the only EMJM program dedicated to the field of Architecture, specifically focusing on contemporary built heritage.

The program consists of 90 ECTS credits (spanning 18 months) and is taught at the Schools or Departments of Architecture in Donostia-San Sebastián, Turin, and Kaunas, with additional participation from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto. The University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea coordinates ARURCOHE under the direction of Prof. Santiago Sánchez Beitia, Professor at the School of Architecture in Donostia-San Sebastián and Corresponding Member of the Corporation.

The conference sessions, held on December 11, 12, and 13 at the Academy’s headquarters, form part of the academic program of ARURCOHE and aim to introduce students to examples of contemporary built heritage in the city of Madrid.
