TOWARDS A GREEN TRAVEL LIVING CIRCLE IN TURIN VS TANGSHAN: A study on the interaction between facility layout and travel behavior
A new event for the "China Room" series titled "TOWARDS A GREEN TRAVEL LIVING CIRCLE IN TURIN VS TANGSHAN: A study on the interaction between facility layout and travel behavior".
Yixin Zhang (DASP - XXXVII Cycle) discusses her current doctoral research, which aims to explore what facility layout encourages people travel in a green way (walk and bike) rather than by bus and car, including the influence of block size on service facility distribution within living circles and extracted the prototypes of the living circle of two cities Tangshan (China) and Turin (Italy).
Yaowu LI (joint PhD of school of Architecture of Tsinghua University and Sapienza University of Rome) and Mauro Berta will participate as discussants.
