(Industrial) Heritage, Mega-event, and Urban Regeneration: Empirical Study on Discourses, Functions, and Spatial Experience

As part of the seminar series organized by the China Room research group, Huishu Deng and Xinwen Zhang present and discuss their latest article with the professors Florence Graezer Bideau - EPFL and Zachary Mark Jones - PoliMi, together with Helena Roux - PhD in EPFL, and the China Room Ph.D. candidate Dingran Chen.

China Room is an interdisciplinary research group made up of scholars in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and geography, who study the impact of Global China and Chinese urbanization processes. The group, composed of senior and junior researchers from the DAD and DIST departments of the Politecnico di Torino, also fosters collaboration with institutions and universities to share knowledge and provide mutual understanding on urban and architectural practices.
