17° International Conference on Physical Properties and Application of Advanced Materials
From Tuesday 24 to Friday October 2023 the International Conference on Physical Properties and Application of Advanced Materials (ICPMAT) will be held. The ICPMAT is an annual conference founded by University of Toyama (Japan) and Japan Institute of Metals, and is organized by a selected host country. The conference focuses on fundamental and applied researches and current developments in physics and materials science, including raw materials, structural materials, functional materials, advanced characterization techniques and computational materials science.
The ICPMAT 2023 will feature a world class technical programme showcasing the latest developments of structural and functional materials, providing social events and Conference dinner, to promote networking opportunities within the material scientist community.
This event will attract academics and personnel from companies to share their knowledge regarding material science.
The programme of plenary, keynote, oral and poster presentations will focus on the following topics:

- Functional materials: Superconductors, oxides, ceramics, spintronics, energy-related materials, nanomaterials, magnetic materials;
- Advanced characterization techniques: Electron microscopy, muon spin spectroscopy, instrumentation;
- Computational materials science: Finite element methods, density functional theory, MC;
- Advanced Powder Metallurgy: Powder characterization, MIM, Near net shape hip, AM (laser and directed energy deposition, Binder Jetting, powder modification and coatings.
