DIGEP seminar – “Foreign exchange risk management”

On Tuesday 21st February 2023, in the framework of the Master's programme in "Ingegneria della Produzione Industriale e dell’Innovazione Tecnologica", an open seminar will be held on the topic "Foreign exchange risk management" by Paul O’Meara - Professor of Finance at the School of Business, Technological University on the Shannon, Athlone, Ireland. Students and teaching staff of the Politecnico are invited to the event (no need to book).

Abstract

Because foreign currencies change in value compared to the Euro over time, exporters and importers face risks with receipts and payments for international trade. This lecture will address the problems and potential solutions associated with foreign currency risk in international trade.
