When manufacturing large high-added value parts, incorrect fixturing and loca??on can be a source of errors, rejected parts, idle ??mes, and consenquently, a waste of resources and money. Due to its relevance in produc??vity and compe????veness, the ini??al alignment is done by long ??me consuming processes (mostly manual). Current approaches are labour intensive and strongly dependant on skilled operators using specialized measuring instruments. TACCO Project aims at developing a groundbreaking innova??on for the fast, reliable and accurate set-up of large raw parts using an a??rac??ve, flexible and easy-to-use modular approach based on photogrammetry, enabling the democra??c engagement of one-of-akind operators to a cri??cal manufacturing process step, the raw part set-up.
