The main idea of this proposal is to set up a test and certification centre for the business acceleration of Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) components under the vendor neutral EIT label called Certification Centre for Business Acceleration of SDN and NFV. In order to prove the commercial potential of such a centre some selected use cases will be tested, with a special focus on the extremely relevant orchestration layer in such an environment.
