Biography

Teresa Monti was born in Palermo on December 25, 1998. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering from the University of Palermo and her Master's degree in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino. During her academic journey, she participated in two Erasmus programs: one during her Bachelor's degree at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, and the other during her Master's degree at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) in Porto.
For one year, she worked as an E-commerce Consultant at Remazing GmbH, where she completed her curricular internship and continued for an additional six months. She then received a research grant at the Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, focusing on technological evolution in industrial conversion contexts. Since November 2023, she has been a PhD student in Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and is part of the “Innovation Management and Product Development” research group. She is also a member of the Design Society, a scientific community in the field of Engineering Design.
For the past three years, she has been a teaching assistant for the courses of Innovation Management and Product Development in the Master’s program in Management and Production Engineering, and for the past two years, for the Innovation and Product Development course in the Bachelor’s program in Design and Communication.
For the past three years, Teresa has been worked as mentor for the Winter School of Design of Innovation as part of the Alta Scuola Politecnica (ASP) program.
For the past year, she has been tutoring students in the Challenge@PoliTo_by Firms program, supporting collaborations with external companies.
Teresa has also participated in the “Osservatorio delle imprese innovative 2025” project in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, contributing to research and analysis activities for mapping the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the metropolitan area of Torino.
