Biography

I hold a degree in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in climate change, after which my research interests progressively focused on glacier monitoring in alpine environments. I am currently a PhD candidate in Geomatics at Politecnico di Torino, where my work has investigated the integration of high-resolution Models and statistical approaches to quantify elevation changes, volume variations, and associated uncertainties in glaciers.
During my PhD, I am further developing my expertise by working with and integrating SAR data, to combine optical and radar techniques for a more comprehensive analysis of dynamic mountain processes, including glacier evolution and slope instabilities.
collaborate with the GlacierLAB research group at Politecnico di Torino and with regional environmental agencies (ARPA) on projects across different alpine areas in Northern Italy, focusing on environmental monitoring, land protection, and hydrogeological hazard assessment. My activities include field campaigns, data acquisition, and the development of operational workflows for multi-temporal analysis.
My research is driven by the need to provide robust and reproducible methods to support climate change studies and risk assessment in alpine regions, also reflecting a strong personal commitment to the understanding and protection of mountain environments.
