Research interests
Biography
Dixit is a Visiting Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at the Pratt School of Architecture and the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. He has previously taught at institutions including Delft University of Technology, Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, the Politecnico di Torino, the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje, Graz University of Technology, and both the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs and the School of Architecture at Syracuse University. His academic contributions extend beyond the classroom, with his work presented at venues such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Chicago Architecture Biennale, the Franc Centre Museum, the National University of Singapore, and Bioskop Balkan in Belgrade. His research and critical writings have been published in Domus, Metropolis, Prostor, the Serbian Architectural Journal, the TAD Journal, and Wallpaper. His forthcoming edited volume, Collective Pedagogies for an Anti–Disciplinary Design Education, is scheduled for publication with Routledge London in 2026.
Dixit holds a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, following undergraduate and graduate studies in politics and philosophy. He began his career at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in San Francisco before serving as Senior Project Leader at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), where he directed major international projects across Bangkok, London, Cairo, and Kuala Lumpur. His career reflects a commitment to research-driven practice and critical pedagogy, integrating architectural design with political and territorial analysis to interrogate the forces shaping contemporary urbanism.
