Biography

I received an MSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a major in Bionanotechnology at Politecnico di Torino in March 2021. While attending the BSc in Biomedical Engineering at the same university, I’ve come to develop a strong interest in the fields of Nanomedicine and Tissue engineering. Following this interest, I decided to pursue the academic path with a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Medical-surgical sciences (since November 2021). The main focus of my PhD project is the application of nanotechnologies to cancer therapy: specifically, the ultimate goal is the design and optimization of polymeric nanoparticles for the delivery of a computationally designed novel colchicine derivative for cancer treatment.
After graduation, I was also selected to collaborate with the Automotive Unit of AKKA TECHNOLOGIES ITALY as Software Quality Engineer for the Quality Department in the Lighting & Body Electronics Platform. This position has provided me with the necessary insights and knowledge of the field and it has also given me the experience to analyze performance goals and requirements in compliance with A-Spice standards.
