Biography

I received my Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin with a specialization in Bionanotechnology, in 2023. My research interests focused on the fabrication of a Lung Cancer model using Extrusion-Based Bioprinting, specifically on the optimization of polymeric materials to be used as a bioink and as a sacrificial bath for the creation of a vascular-like structure.
From March 2024 I am a PhD student in Bioengineering and Medical Surgical Science at Polytechnic of Turin. Currently, I am working on the synthesis of plasmonic nanostars for the SERS applications and on the influence of the plasmonic properties on enzymatic activity.
