Biography

Francesco Biletta is a PhD student at the Politecnico di Torino where he is focusing in Electromagnetic and Radar Hardware design. His interest in this field began during the second semester of the first year of Master's Degree when he learned the basics of radar sensing. In that occasion he decided that his thesis would be related to this topic.
The following year he had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. He learned more about electronic systems, completed several group projects and became proficient in Spanish. He then focused on the thesis research performing processing optimization of an automotive radar system by exploiting the hardware accelerator of AWR1843 radar sensor chip.
When he is not busy designing PCBs, he enjoys playing rugby and fixing whatever comes to hand.
