Biography

Prof. Riccardo Maggiora (email: riccardo.maggiora@polito.it). Associate Professor at Politecnico di Torino, Italy - Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, founder and coordinator of the Radar Laboratory of Politecnico di Torino, scientific coordinator of the Laboratory of Antennas and Electromagnetic Compatibility of Politecnico di Torino, founder of the Plasma Facing Antennas Research Group of Politecnico di Torino. Author of more than 100 publications and 2 patents, main research areas in design, prototyping and measurement of plasma facing antenna, antennas for satellite communications, and antenna arrays for radar and communications systems and in radar systems design, prototyping and validation for automotive, industrial and railways applications. Currently leading a team of 10 people, scientific coordinator of more than 100 research projects since 2005.
