Biography

Enrico Pons (Senior Member, IEEE) received the master degree in electrical engineering in 2004 and the Ph.D. in industrial safety and risk analysis in 2008 from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. He is currently associate professor at Politecnico di Torino, where he teaches electrical installations and safety. His research activities include complexity in energy systems, power systems security, complex networks methodologies for the analysis of power systems vulnerability, real-time simulation of power systems, integration of renewable generation in distribution networks, smart metering, traction electrification systems and electrical safety. He co-authored more than 80 publications, published in international conferences proceedings and in international journals.
