Biography

Innovative civil engineer with a strong passion for structural health monitoring and the use of cutting-edge technologies. After graduating with a specialization in existing structures, pursued a Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology, convinced that the future of the civil sector lies at the intersection of these two disciplines. Attentive to industry developments, adopts a design approach focused on sustainability and innovation. Driven by the pursuit of efficient and long-lasting solutions, aims to deliver safe and smart constructions.
This path has naturally led to research on a recurring problem in professional practice: advanced sensing, simulation and optimization tools are widely available, yet their combined use is still limited by fragmented workflows and poor traceability of computational decisions. The research develops integrated digital procedures linking data acquisition, numerical analysis and design support, in which automation handles standardized operations while the engineer's judgement remains responsible for interpreting results. The goal is to produce reproducible methods that turn data and models into verifiable information, with applications in health monitoring, optimization and soil–structure interaction.
