Biography

Dafne Cimino trained as a heritage scientist. She specialises in particular in polymeric materials used both in the creation and conservation of works of art, specifically paintings, and her research and characterisation work focuses on these materials, including during in situ diagnostic campaigns. Since 2012, she has been a member of the international consortium of the Consolidating Adhesive Project.
