Biography

I carry out research in meteorology and climatology, focusing on precipitation forecasts, thermal comfort indices, and the study of atmospheric moisture fluxes on a global scale. I integrate observations, satellite data, and reanalysis with numerical models and machine learning techniques to improve the understanding and modelling of atmospheric processes and their impacts.

Research topics

  • Atmospheric moisture fluxes at global scale
  • Limited area precipitation forecast with machine learning
  • Satellite based observsations for environmental analysis
  • Thermal comfort indices (e.g. UTCI) modeling at urban scale with machine learning
