Biography

Alessandra Dolmeta graduated in Electronic Engineering in 2020 and in Microelectronics in 2022, both at the Politecnico di Torino. During her master's thesis, she focused on the study of post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, in particular CRYSTALS-Kyber, developing a hardware accelerator dedicated to the execution of SHA3 primitives. He is now doing his PhD in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, in collaboration with Telsy. The main focus of his research activity is the design of hardware architectures for post-quantum cryptography integrated on RISC-V, with the aim of speeding up and optimizing PQC algorithms.

Awards and Honors

  • At the 8th International Conference on PhD Research in Microelectronics and Electronic, based on the reviewers' and the awards committee's evaluation top 30% of papers has been awarded. The SILVER LEAF Certificate is for papers between top 10% and top 20%. (2023)
  • RISC-V Summit Europe Hackathon Participant As part of RISC-V Summit Europe, I participated in an in-person hackathon hosted by RISC-V International in collaboration with Codasip and Renesas. This hands-on learning experience was designed for students and early-to-mid stage enthusiasts. The hackathon involved choosing from onsite problems, utilizing available resources to develop unique solutions within 3-4 hours, and presenting the solutions in the Expo Hall. (2024)
