Biography

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, where I also earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. My research lies at the intersection of evolutionary computation and computational intelligence, with a particular focus on three areas: diversity preservation in evolutionary algorithms, genetic programming with graph-based representations, and abstraction and interpretable reasoning. In my current work, I develop experimental frameworks for ARC-style tasks, investigating how structured representations and search mechanisms can support robust generalization, knowledge reuse, and greater interpretability. In parallel, I collaborate on an applied project on mass spectra deconvolution, which allows me to combine methodological research with empirical validation. A possible cotutelle with Université Paris-Saclay represents an important opportunity for me to further strengthen this path within an international and scientifically complementary environment.
